ISK High School Trip to Schindler's Factory

Last year Ms. Tymczak took all of her students on a trip to the Krakow ghetto and the Plaszow concentration camp.  This year we went to Schindler's factory.  It was my second time, but the museum was still incredible.

 A uniform in the museum.

Beth with the mini-tank.  The tour guide didn't notice.

For some reason I really like this picture.

As usual, I was drawn to the swords.

Me messing with angles.  Don't ask.

A careful drawing of part of Krakow.

The cross, boxes, and small figure are examples of things prisoners managed to make in the concentration camp.   The crucifix on the left is actually made of bread.

Part of our group across Schindler's actual desk with newspapers from the time.

Two coats hung up in a model of a train station cloakroom.

My schoolmates through a barbed-wire fence in a panorama room designed to look like Plaszow.

Ms. Tymczak and Stalin.  I love the look on her face.  "Really, Ash?  Another picture?"  Yup.

One room is covered in pieces of paper with single-sentence memories from various people.  For some reason this one struck me.
